Bunk Basics

Our boys and girls cabins are located in separate rows on camp that provide ample privacy, while still remaining in close proximity to everything Timber Ridge has to offer.

While many cabins at Timber Ridge feature unique layouts, every cabin is equipped with:

  • a porch
  • fire extinguishers
  • smoke detectors
  • windows/screens
  • ceiling fans
  • electrical outlets
  • full bathrooms w/ private showers
  • spacious room for the campers and their belongings

We strive to maintain a 3:1 counselor-to-camper ratio in the cabins at all times. This ensures that each individual receives ample personalized attention and never feels left out or left behind.

Our division leaders and head counselors live in close proximity so that they may have a presence in the cabins at all times, providing any support that may be needed.

Laundry is collected once a week and is washed onsite in our laundry facility. All laundry is returned to the cabins folded within 24hrs.

A Personal Touch.

We do everything we can to accommodate the children at our camp and make their summer experience as amazing as possible. If your child plans to attend camp with a friend, let us know! We take preferences into account while assigning cabins and cabinmates.

Campers are required to write home 3 days per week to encourage open communication and further develop their writing skills.

Additionally, parents receive a post card from their child’s cabin counselor once per week. These serve to update parents on current camp events, share their child’s achievements, and in general, provide further insight into the wild and wacky world of summer camp.
