Camp Life

Over the years we have developed a welcoming culture that promotes a caring and nurturing camp family to look after the wellbeing of every child.  At Timber Ridge, we believe children experience everything camp has to offer by creating strong and lasting bonds with their cabin mates and counselors.

Our Cabins

Our boys and girls cabins are located in separate rows on camp that provide ample privacy, while still remaining in close proximity to everything Timber Ridge has to offer. Each cabin is equipped with a porch, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, windows/screens, full bathrooms with private showers, and spacious room for the children and their belongings.

We strive to maintain a 3:1 counselor-to-camper ratio in the cabins throughout the summer. This ensurecamp-lifes that each individual receives personalized attention and never feels left out or left behind. Our division leaders and head counselors live in close proximity so that they may have a presence in the cabins at all times, providing any support that may be needed.

We do everything we can to accommodate the children at our camp and make their summer experience as amazing as possible. If your child plans to attend camp with a friend, let us know! We take preferences into account while assigning cabins and cabinmates.

Our summer program truly has something for everyone. Timber Ridge Camp has approximately 200 campers per session. This is the perfect size to give every camper the individualized attention to make his or her summer unique.   We also have an even distribution of campers for every age group.
At Timber Ridge we have sessions to meet every family’s need.  Sessions that we offer include:

  • Two week sessions
  • Half Sessions (4 weeks)
  • Full Session (8 weeks)

Each half session is a separate experience, where campers arrive and leave on the same day. We also offer a special 2 week session for younger campers looking to experience camp for the first time, or simply those who are unable to stay longer.

Our philosophy is to house children that are in the same age group and session. Therefore, cabins are not disrupted by campers coming and going and nobody feels left out.

Camp Divisions

While we at Timber Ridge see ourselves as one big and happy camp family, we structure our camp into three divisions based on grade level. This allows us to provide the personalized attention and the specialized care that Timber Ridge has become known for throughout the year. Our divisions are as follows:7g0a9709

Juniors (Grades K-3)

Inters (Grades 4-6)

Seniors (Grades 7-10)

These divisions function as smaller, individual groups, which offer unique opportunities most evenings to bond and socialize with peers their age.
