New for the summer of 2017!
Beginning in the summer of 2017, Timber Ridge will be offering the “Rookie Camp” experience! Are you unsure if your child is ready for a four or eight-week session? Would you or your child like to see the camp facilities before committing to the entire summer? If you answered yes to either of these questions, Rookie Camp is the perfect opportunity for you and your child. It not only provides fun for the whole family but is also a great introduction to the Timber Ridge camping experience!
Our rookie camp experience is designed to immerse your children into the world of Timber Ridge Camp and let them experience our activities and environment just as any other camper would. Upon arrival, rookies will be assigned to cabins and will then have the opportunity to make their schedule. Parents will receive a walking tour of camp from our director, Jill Goden, so that you may see first-hand what Timber Ridge is like on a typical day.
Rookie Weekend (June 23-25) – $150
For first-time campers 5-9 years of age
Rookie Week (June 23-30) – $300
For first-time campers 10-14 years of age
While at camp, rookies will get to experience the Timber Ridge Carnival! This day of fun is filled with slip-n-slides, face painting, inflatables, popcorn, cotton candy, water balloon fights, dunking booths, pie eating competitions and much much more. Following the carnival rookies will join each other for a bonfire where they will have the opportunity to learn more about our camp and its traditions. And of course, what kind of fire would be complete without smores?
Rookie Camp is intended to be a stepping stone to your child becoming a two, four, or eight-week camper. There is a small fee associated with Rookie Camp. If you choose to enroll your child the following summer or decide to extend your stay after Rookie Camp, this fee will be deducted from your tuition.
Rookie Camp reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis.
